“Aha! I see what you’re thinking. How about ice-cream and fruit?
Or chocolate and strawberries?”
“They both sound really good. Are you going to have something too?”
“I don’t think I could eat anything else today. I had a big lunchtoday with Wendy, one of my newcolleagues. I had a hamburger, chips and a large beer.”
“Beer for lunch? Did your bossmind?”
“He wasn’t there in the afternoon, but I don’t think it will be a problem.”
“That’s ok then. But what about my dessert? Do you think they have fondue?”
“We can ask the waiter. Excuse me, do you serve fondue for dessert?”
“I’m afraid not, sir, but we do have an excellent tiramisu.”
“Hmmm… I think I’ll have to have that. What about you Belinda?”
“One tiramisu for me too, please.”
“You know it’s my favourite!”
